After a long career working in the world of hydrocolloids, Michel Maton founded the Alliance Gums and Industries company in 2000.

AGI set up its headquarters and laboratories close to La Défense (Bezons), and quickly became an important international player specialised in the formulation and production of thickeners and gelling agents of natural origin.

Essentially made up of scientists, the team innovates day after day and creates the texturising agents required by the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, textile and technical industries.

AGI makes and ships all of its orders – whether standard or made-to-measure – from its production site, which is also located in France, taking care to rigorously comply with its customers’ instructions.
